Deli X Nigeria (Premium Variety)
The male lines (pisifera) of this variety were developed in Nigeria by NIFOR (The Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research), and introduced to Costa Rica from the Kade Experimental Station of Ghana in 1977. This variety produces bunches of two colors (approximately half nigrescens and half virescens).
